HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is the responsibility of the customer (hirer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable or equipment. Please read carefully and adhere to the following safety instructions.

Inflatable Hire:

• The equipment has an age limit of 12 years, Please ensure no person over this age uses the equipment.
• Please ensure that a responsible adult supervises the equipment at all times.
• No pets, food, drink or chewing gum allowed on the inflatable. This is to avoid choking and soiling. Please note that if the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition the hirer will incur a cleaning charge of €100 minimum.
• Shoes, glasses, sunglasses, jewelry, earrings, badges and other sharp objects should be removed before using the inflatable.
• No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string is to be used on or near the inflatable.
• No smoking or naked flames permitted on or near the inflatable.
• No climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls of the equipment, this is strictly forbidden and is extremely dangerous.
• Always ensure that the equipment is never overcrowded and the limit numbers according to the age and size of the persons using it is adhered to. Also ensure that the age range of those using the equipment is suitable according to the equipment description.
• Avoid large and small children using the equipment at the same time. Some children require strict supervision.
• Ensure users are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in such a manner as to risk injury or cause distress to others.
• No somersaults, piggybacks, climbing on shoulders, reckless jumping, pushing or pulling of other children allowed.
• No running from side to side or bouncing on the front safety step/apron. This should be used only for getting on and off the inflatable.
• If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day lease unplug the blower ensuring the inflatable is empty. This will save your electricity bill.
• Nobody with a history of back or neck problem are allowed on the inflatable.
• Do not allow people on or in the unit while it is being inflated or deflated.
• In the event of heavy rain or windy conditions it is strongly recommended that the unit be powered off. Any wetness including bubbling can be dried with a towel. A small picnic table placed over the blower while powered off will help prevent rain water being sucked into the blower.
• The blower at the back may have a safety reset button, in the event it overheats or loses power, switch it off at the mains, leave for 2-3 mins and switch it back on again If it does not reset contact us immediately
• Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is clear at all times.
• Ensure that there is at least 2 feet clearance on each side and 6 feet at the rear
• The equipment should not be used if the jumping area is wet, If the equipment is not fitted with a rain cover it should not be used in the wet.
• We can only guarantee a minimum of 5 hours usage per day, this is dependent on the site location and our delivery and collection rules. We will always endeavor to provide the hirer as long a period to use the castle on the day of hire. Collection times commence at 6pm or from 5pm between September - March.
• If wind speed exceeds 20km/ph. the blower should be powered off and the unit deflated.
• The hirer will be liable for any damage caused through misuse or neglect. Under no circumstances should the unit be moved by the hirer
• Upon request we may bring a unit through the inside of your property if we feel it will fit. We will not be held responsible for any damage or wet floors however we will of course take every reasonable precaution that this will not happen.
• Party Palz cannot be held liable for any damage to property whilst transporting equipment through property, a clearway must be prepared with a minimum of 1.75m wide access.
• Should the use of any outdoor inflatable be hindered by weather conditions we can not be held liable for non use, Once delivery is committed we will not be in a position to issue a refund in the case. We will always contact customer on the day of order to confirm delivery of unit with regards.
• The Hirer/Signatory should examine the Equipment at physical handover to ensure satisfaction. For delivered items any shortage or damage must be noticed on delivery.
• The Hirer will pay for all rectification, cleaning or Equipment loss. The cost of damage repair will also be payable by the Hirer. Severe damage or Equipment loss will result in charging full replacement cost. Hire charges will accrue until settlement is made.
• The Hirer agrees to insure the Equipment against all risks on a 'new for old' basis with any claim settlement receipts from an insurance company or other source be held in trust for payment on demand. This liability is without prejudice to any Suppliers rights under the Contract. Equipment purchased to replace lost or stolen items is the property of the Supplier.
• Should we arrive to a confirmed delivery to find that the area is unsuitable or does not have the required space, the deposit is non refundable and the full hire charge will still be charged.
• If we arrive to a delivery that has confirmed the inflatable is going on grass where it can be hammered into the ground and this is not the case, delivery can not be fulfilled and the full hire charge is still due. The full hire cost will be charged to the booking card.
• 100% of the hire charge for the unconsumed hire period will be due in the event of early cancellation for any reason WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE HIRE DATE. For all May bookings all cancellations made within 4 weeks of the booking date incur a 100% charge
• It is the hires duty to inform us of any underground pipes within 300mm of the ground surface before we install any unit. Party Palz will not be held responsible for any burst hidden pipes.

Fun Food Machine Hire

• The use of the Popcorn, Candyfloss, Slushie or any other machine is to be serviced only by a responsible adult at all times.
• Party Palz cannot be held liable for any illness or reaction caused from consumption of food supplied with any machine.
• All Food Machines can only be installed indoors. We do not install any machines in marquees, sheds, home bars or any other outdoor settings due to them not being weatherproof.
• Under no circumstances can we bring machines up staircases due to being heavy and bulky.
• Where an event is held in a venue, it is the responsibility of the hirer for making sure that the venue allow food machines.
• Under no circumstances must any machine be moved after installation. Our delivery drivers are the only individuals who can move the machines. Where we arrive to a collection and this has been ignored a €100 minimum fee will be charged to the booking card.
• Where a machine comes back damaged the cost of repair or replace is due as well as any finacial loss for any upcoming bookings that had to be cancelled.
• Party Palz will always give notice of any fees due and reserves the rights to charge the appropriate fee to the payment card in which was used to make the booking.

DISCLAIMER PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PERSONS USING THIS BOUNCY CASTLE OR PARTY EQUIPMENT HIRED FROM PARTY PALZ DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND THEREFORE PARTY PALZ LTD CANNOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY CAUSED TO ANYONE USING THEIR EQUIPMENT. To Reiterate: I completely acknowledge that PARTY PALZ LIMITED will not be held liable whatsoever even in a court of law for any injury caused to persons during the time the equipment is in my possession and I hereby completely accept all responsibility and I will be personally liable for any claims or accidents that may occur. By signing this disclaimer, I the hirer accept all of the above terms and conditions and sole responsibility for the safety of persons using this equipment and agree to ensure it is supervised at all times by either myself (signed below or online) or a responsible adult over the age of 18 whilst the equipment is being used and by signing this form I accept full liability for any injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Party Palz reserves the right to refuse the hire to anyone they deem not suitable without having to give an explanation.
Party Palz or its employees WILL NOT be held liable for any accidents, damages or injuries that may occur through the hire of the inflatable or equipment.
The hirer signs this contract prior to any use for and on behalf of all who use or come into contact with the inflatable or equipment and understands and agrees to accept all the conditions listed above from Party Palz Ltd.
